The City University of New York system will reportedly pay developer Bruce Ratner $307 million to build an 11- to 14-story City Tech classroom building in Downtown Brooklyn. City Tech's Klitgord Auditorium would be replaced by the new building. Along with the fee, Ratner would gain control of a site at Jay and Tillary streets, where he wants to build a tower for City Tech that would be Brooklyn's tallest building.
